Hamster Pouch respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All gameplay data (such as pouch contents, star high-score values, and settings) is stored locally on your device and never sent to us or any third party.
2. Game Center, Leaderboards, and Social Platforms
Hamster Pouch does not currently connect to Apple Game Center or any other social gaming platform.
In future versions, we may offer an optional leaderboard feature that uses non-identifiable usernames to display scores.
This feature will not require you to provide personal information, and usernames will not include real names, photos, or contact details.
Any leaderboard data will be stored and displayed solely for gameplay purposes and will not be used for tracking or advertising.
3. External Links
The game includes an optional link to our official Discord support server.
These links open in your device’s browser or external apps. Once you leave Hamster Pouch, the privacy practices of those websites or services apply.
4. Notifications
Hamster Pouch may send occasional local notifications (for example, reminders when the in-game free “box” is ready). These are generated by the app itself and do not involve sending any data to us. You can manage or disable notifications in your device settings.
5. Children’s Privacy
Hamster Pouch is rated 13+ on the App Store due to mild references to alcohol in character design. The game does not depict or encourage the consumption of alcohol. It is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 13. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable child privacy laws.

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Effective Date” above.
